Los Angeles, CA - The May 31st episode of 'The Doctors" will include a story with Dr. Kenneth Light, a leading spine surgeon who practices in San Francisco. The May 31st show focuses on people dealing with chronic pain and will feature the story of Dr. Light's patient Shawndra, a gravedigger and cemetery caretaker who injured her neck on the job. Shawndra was left in excruciating pain for months until her insurance company approved her spinal disc replacement surgery.

In the segment, Dr. Light  shows how advanced procedures including spinal disc replacement are helping patients return to normal, active lives after neck and back injuries.
