Cellulaze Featured on the TODAY Show Comes To Philadelphia

Dr. Paul Glat  is the first physician in the Philadelphia area to provide the new Cellulaze™ treatment for cellulite, just featured on the TODAY show.  Cellulaze is the first procedure shown to be effective with just one treatment.

The FDA recently cleared the the Cellulaze device, giving millions of American women the first minimally invasive solution in their battle against cellulite. This is the first device to work effectively with just one treatment, according to the manufacturer.

Cellulite Reduction Results With Cellulaze
"My patients are excited to be among the first to have the opportunity to get rid of stubborn cellulite with this new treatment," says Dr. Paul Glat, a board certified plastic surgeon in Bala Cynwyd, PA. "Cellulite is one of the most often- mentioned concerns I hear from my female patients, and the Cellulaze is the first effective single treatment that will help women have smoother, more attractive legs, thighs and buttocks".

"Cellulaze is a minimally invasive medical device designed to treat women who have struggled to eliminate cellulite through diet and exercise," according to the device manufacturer. Cellulaze directly treats the physiological structure of cellulite.  An estimated 85% of women over the age of 20 have some form of cellulite – pockets of fat deposited just beneath the surface of the skin, around the hips, thighs, and buttocks, which produces an "orange-peel" or a "cottage cheese" appearance. In the United States alone, the treatment of cellulite is a multibillion-dollar industry, according to  estimates.

"Cellulaze reduces or eliminates cellulite by restoring the normal structure of the skin and underlying connective tissue," says Dr. Glat.  The treatment diminishes the lumpy pockets of fat, releases the areas of skin depression typifying cellulite and increases the elasticity and thickness of the skin. So far, clinical photos show impressive results remaining two years after treatment."
